You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, and prescribing corrective lenses. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the success of our practice and the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health
- Diagnose and treat various visual conditions and diseases
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and treatment options
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure integrated patient care
Requirements: - Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- State licensure to practice optometry
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ophthalmic procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Pediatrics experience helpful
- Sales experience in optical products helpful
- Knowledge of medical coding
- Familiarity with senior care optometry
